  • How are these made? A rough outline is transferred to the plate to assure consistent designs. Then 90% of the image including all the detail and shading
    are done by hand individually for each plate. Top of Page

  • Will these fit my light switch? They absolutely should. We use standard size switchplates that should fit any light switch. Top of Page

  • Will you do custom images? We are limited by just one artist working 24/7 under hot, hot lights and eating mostly crackers. However, please feel free to send an e-mail with such requests. Top of Page

  • What are the shipping costs?. Shipping costs are $5.50 for the first switchplate and .50 for each additional plate, any size, any quantity. Top of Page

  • What is your return policy? If you are dissatisfied for any reason, just send your order back to us for an exchange or a full refund. No hassles. No time limits. No problems. Top of Page

  • How long will it take for me to receive my order? Most orders are custom made and shipped in less than two weeks. Top of Page

  • Will my personal information be kept confidential? Any personal information that you give Scenicswitchplates will not be sold or given to anyone for any reason. We only use your information to process, ship, and track orders. Top of Page

  • Why is the shopping cart not functioning correctly?  The shopping cart requires that a session cookie on the users computer preserve the information from page to page. If your browser security settings are very high, these cookies are disabled. Top of Page

  • How is the transaction handled?  As you select items and quantities, the shopping cart will track your selections. You can review the order at any time ("View Order" button on the bottom of every page).  When you "Check Out" you will be asked to log in as either a new or existing customer. Once you have logged in, your order is displayed to review and "Submit".  Credit card processing is handled on a secure server by PayPal. An account with PayPal is optional.  If your selected payment method was check or money order, your order will be sent and a confirmation emailed to you.   • Do you accept credit card payments? Yes, both PayPal and credit card processing (PayPal account optional) are available through PayPal and handled on a secure server. Top of Page

  • How do I order the Colonial style plates? There is a drop down selection box on every individual page which defaults to "rectangle". Select "Colonial" if you prefer that style. Top of Page

  • AOL's browser uses a graphics compression utility to help speed up downloading of pages. This often results in blurry images or images containing black bars. All AOL members have the option of deselecting "Use Compressed Graphics" in their Web Preferences. Here is the path: My AOL» Preferences» WWW» Web Graphics, and uncheck "Use compressed graphics".   • What are the switchplates made of? Our switchplates are carefully selected Maple. Top of Page
